TYBRIN's Engineering and Technical Services (ETS) for Flight Research and Development at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center (DFRC)  provides support for flight research projects, internal research and development, and various technical support functions.<br>
<br>
TYBRIN is currently seeking a Sr. Analyst at Edwards AFB to:<ul>
<li>Establish and document the Lessons Learned (LL) processes at NASA Dryden. 
<li>Collect Center LL, analyze initial LL and recommend responsible implementation organization. 
<li>Interface with organizations' process owners and the Center Chief Engineer. 
<li>Arrange review of LL by Subject Matter Expert (SME) to determine validity of LL. 
<li>Rewrite LL to ensure readability, clarity, and accuracy. 
<li>Input of Dryden Lessons Learned into Agency Database.
<li>Perform duties as Dryden Center liaison for the Integrated Corrective Action System (ICAS) responsible for:<ul>
<li>Input of nonconformances in to ICAS, ensuring that root cause is accurately determined by assignee, ensuring that the corrective action answers the root cause, and updating the (ICAS) database and following up on corrective action plans to ensure timely closure. 
<li>Interface with NASA management to develop corrective action plans for nonconformances assigned to their organization. 
<li>Participate in the Integrated Corrective Action System (ICAS) working group. 
<li>Analyze data from several corrective action systems to determine systemic trends.</ul></ul>
<b><i>Education Desired/Required:</b></i><ul>
<li>Bachelors degree with 5 years experience performing similar analysis; or 
<li>Advanced degree with 3 years experience performing similar analysis.</ul>

Provides direct leadership and guidance to staff to ensure that high level of cleanliness, quality, and service is achieved and maintained.  Assist with JCAHO compliance.<br>

Maintain a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas.<br>
Participate in staff selection process.  Interview candidates as needed.  Schedule days off, holidays, and vacations, ensuring that facility's needs are met in accordance with hours and position control.<br>

Plan and coordinate project work to ensure that proper frequencies are maintained.<br>
Ensure that staff receive proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.<br>
Ensure duty lists are revised and current at all times.  Review duty lists with regular and relief associates periodically.<br>
Ensure that proper supply control guidelines are followed and staff is trained in the use of all chemicals.<br>
Proactive approach to identifying and correcting facility quality assurance concerns.  Timely follow-up is required.<br>
Attend and participate in departmental staff meetings on a scheduled basis.  Attend ongoing staff development and training courses as offered by company and facility.<br>
Provide and monitor individual guidance and motivation to associates to enable each one to perform to his/her fullest potential.<br>
Discipline associates when necessary according to progressive disciplinary guidelines.<br>
Monitor associates' attendance and take proactive action when patterns of absenteeism are observed.<br>

Prepare associate disciplinary and variance reports and conduct follow-up investigation as needed, reporting findings to appropriate assistant director. <br>
Prepare disciplinary action notices and conduct follow-up as required.  Conduct disciplinary meetings with associates with guidance from appropriate assistant director.<br>
Respond to concerns and requests with a sense of urgency and take necessary corrective action including timely follow-up.<br>
Participate in associate performance evaluations and make recommendations as needed.  Conducts associate performance evaluations with guidance and approval from appropriate assistant director.<br>
Participate in department safety and maintain a safe work environment at all times. <br>
Report all unsafe equipment and acts to appropriate assistant director.<br>
Assure that the integrity of security at the facility is maintained at all times.<br>

Operations<br>
-Manage Solar City Site Specific Inventory. <br>
-Maintain proper inventory levels to support site crews. <br>
-Maintain proper inventory accuracy. <br>
-Plan material needed to support site crews. <br>
-Work with Supply Chain to ensure material is ordered/available prior to need. <br>
-Maintain inventory levels to meet need but not exceed inventory turns metric.<br>

Responsibilities<br>
-Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is ready accessible, countable and identifiable. <br>
-Maintain inventory levels to ensure crews have material to meet their installation needs. <br>
-Maintain accurate inventory counts. Minimize inventory loss, scrap, adjustments, and variance. <br>
-Maintain auditable records: Packing slips, pick lists, Great Plains Journal Entries, Job Close Out paperwork. <br>
-Interface with Supply Chain for material needs and crews for material demand. <br>
-Establish processes, procedures and/or organizations to achieve all metrics.<br>

Requirements<br>
-5-10 years warehouse manager experience. Supervision/Management roles. <br>
-Inventory planning system experience. Great Plains a plus. <br>
- Material Planning a plus. <br>
-College a plus. <br>
-APICS a plus. <br>

 Key Metrics: <br>
1. Cycle Count Accuracy (Scrap/Adjustments/Variance/ Loss reduction). <br>
2. Recording Keeping Audit. Ability to organize and retrieve key auditable documents on demand. <br>
3. Stock out %. Reduce number of times demand is not fulfilled in a timely manner. <br>
4. Inventory Turns. Ensure site achieves inventory turn goal. Balance inventory levels to ensure demand is fulfilled with unneeded inventory. <br>
