The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for all scheduling of clinical personnel with contracted healthcare facilities. He/she will work closely with the Nurse Recruiter and the Administrator to assure the timely and efficient matching of personnel with healthcare facility needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide first level support to both clinical personnel and healthcare facility customers.
* Operate with a sense of urgency when dealing with both clinical staff and facility customers
* Provide client needs and updates of needs to the Administrator and nurse recruiter while assisting facility in advanced planning of needs
* Schedule per diem shifts and fulfill block/contract assignments
* Maintain staffing sheets with updated compliant clinical personnel and contact information
* Effectively research and resolve staffing/payroll problems in a timely manner
*Primarily responsible for maintaining currently staffed clinical personnel files together with the nurse recruiter to maintain 100% compliance with Nurse Now Inc and individual facility requirements.
Assist the administrator with payroll and billing accuracy.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.
Education
Must have a High School Diploma or higher.
Experience
-Must have one plus year of health care staffing experience
-No licensure required
-Strong knowledge of computers, Word/Excel experience required
-Work independently and exercise sound judgment
-Ability to prioritize in a deadline oriented environment
-Strong organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized.
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Excellent people skills. Interacts effectively and works productively with a wide range of people.
