Requirements:

I. POSITION SUMMARY Ensure the store's meat department provides positive earnings and the department operates at standards set by the company.Assist the store manager by training employees, and in directing effective safety, security and sanitation programs.Leads store meat department team in a manner that maximizes sales and profits.Assist the store manager in compliance of all company policies and procedures.
II. KEY FUNCTIONS
(30%)
Share the responsibility for generating sales, profits, scheduling and expense management of the store with theStore Manager.Responsible for leading the meat department in maintaining control of shrink, SPEH, product ordering, and merchandising to meat company and division goals.
(20%)
Assist the store manager in setting and executing all work priorities and directing the assignment of individual tasks within the store.Responsibilities may include functions at the front end, on the sales floors, and overall cleaning and maintenance.
(15%)
Assist with customer service as needed.Assist the Store Manager in training and execution of good customer service in the store.
(15%)
Share with the manager a properly maintained store in compliance with Save-A-Lot standards.Share with the Store Manager the responsibilities for a clean, neat, well- stocked and friendly store.Assist the Store Manager with the maintenance of all signs and togs.

Share with the Store Manager the responsibility for the implementation and compliance of all company policies and all accounting procedures in compliance with company policies and standards.Share with the Store Manager the responsibility for hiring, training, and developing store personnel.
III. REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent PROFESSIONAL TRAINING:
2. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Two years of previous experience working in perishables (produce/meat).Experience using hand tools and power equipment, such as knives, slicers, grinders, cubing machine, and power saw.

Assist the Store Manager in all retail store functions to include selling of merchandise and directing store operations.

i-wireless offers a simple and affordable approach to prepaid wireless services by leveraging the distribution power of one the nation’s largest retailers to build a strong brand identity and significant scale in a dynamic mobile marketplace. i-Wireless, LLC provides pre paid wireless service on an end cap display inside of select grocery stores. Merchandiser will be responsible for the following functions each time a visit is conducted:
- inspect display and make any repairs necessary
- update the signage on the display as offers change
- note the location and condition of the display
- dust / wipe down display
- count phone inventory at customer service / count accessory inventory on the display inventory quantities in each store are generally low. Scan ESN's with scanner
- replenish brochures and airtime cards
- drop off any promo material to the store
- from time-to-time, assist in shipping returned phones to central warehouse by placing pre paid shipping labels on the return boxes
- must have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, clean driving record
- must have physical dexterity to use screw driver, reach top of display 6 ft, and lift boxes up to 20 lbs.
- must have current email address that is checked at least 1 time per day
- must be computer literate: ability to open excel files, record information an on-line database, and send back in an email.

You will be responsible for visiting the below stores once a month, and submitting data via e-mail to be inputted into our web inventory tool after each visit.
