we have a home in bakersfield that we are renting out and we want to buy a home with horse property up in tehachapi but because of the new lending laws you have to either have 30% equity in your home or qualify for both and we do not. our plan is to sell our home in two years when the market rebounds(hopefully). if there is anyone in tehachapi that has acerage for horses that would like to get out of their home, we can either assume the loan or do a lease with option for 2 years.
