Hi. I have two antique Japanese wood block print books by Utagawa Kunisada. Utagawa Kunisada lived from 1786 to 1865. Assuming he was 30 to 60 years old when these were made, then that would date these little books to circa 1816 to 1846. Each book is an illustrated story of some kind. Each page has pictures and lots of writing on it. Each book has at least 40 or 50 pages, or more. If you love Japanese animation and Manga novels, well, these little books were the start of that almost 200 years ago. I can send more pictures if requested. I am asking for $700 for each book, or best offer, or $1400 for both books, or best offer. I can deliver if we make a deal. I live in Fresno, California.
