1974 Ford F-100 prerunner project. Built in the mid 90s, one family owned since late 80s. Was mostly street driven. Was a running driving truck until recently, now being sold as a roller without engine or transmission. Current registration, clean pre-smog California title.
Originally grabber blue with the Ranger package, factory short bed, 360 FE V8 engine, C6 automatic transmission, factory Air Conditioning, power disc brakes, power steering. No smog needed.
Has a professionally welded 4-point inside the cab roll cage, trussed 31-spline 9-inch big bearing rear axle, National Spring custom rear leaf springs, custom high capacity under the bed aluminum fuel cell with skid plate, custom removeable front bumper. Has a smooth (no shifter) 4 speed power steering column. Was set up with old school long travel multiple tube shock front suspension, now has stock beams, buckets and springs. Tires are decent 33x12.50R15 BFG Mud Terrains on 15x8 Outlaw style rims. Wheel studs are 5/8 inch.
The grill shell is near perfect with repop inserts. I have a near perfect factory (yellow) paint tailgate to go with the truck, a couple of headliner panels, and some other minutia.
Was originally an Arizona truck before being brought to California in the late 80s. Body is pretty straight; was prepped for paint in the 90s, but never got painted. Has zero rust on the frame, solid cab floor. The cowl and drip rails have rust, as does the rear of the floor of the bed. Other wise it's very solid. Windshield has one chip, otherwise glass is good.
Good start for a fun dent side build. Pre-smog, so you could put any drivetrain in it, even an LS as long as I don't know about it.
