A private event production company is hiring a small, reliable setup crew for weddings throughout May, June, and July.
This is a hands-on role focused on building out the event before guests arrive. Ideal for individuals who work efficiently, take direction well, and show up ready to move.
Details:
• Dates: May 30, June 6, 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18
• Shift: Approx. 2–4 hours (morning start)
• Location: Tehachapi area
• Pay: $20/hour based on reliability and work ethic
Responsibilities:
• Unload and place tables, chairs, and event rentals
• Follow a floor plan and direction from lead producer
• Assist with layout, staging, and final setup
• Work efficiently as part of a small team
Requirements:
• Able to lift 50+ lbs consistently
• Punctual and dependable
• Takes direction well and works with urgency
• No experience required, but construction, moving, or event setup is a plus
Additional Notes:
• Preference given to candidates available for multiple dates
• Opportunity for ongoing weekend work throughout the season
