* If you are growing this plant on a patio or porch, give it ample shade. It cannot tolerate full sun. If you experience leaf burn from too much sunlight, you can cut off any brown or yellowing foliage to encourage new growth.
* Tolerating a variety of soils, light, and water conditions, these are the ultimate low maintenance indoor plant. They can be grown in bright indirect light or low light settings. Spider plants prefer well draining soil and like to be watered about once a week. Underwatering can kill your houseplant so maintain a routine schedule.
