Engine casting #1401207 80-85. Chevy used these pistons from 71 to 84. TRW forged # 464664 with cromium wrist pins. 84 was the last year C4 Corvettes used these pistons.
This engine is two bolt main (two and four bolt mains came in corvettes); no ring groove in the front two cylinders, where cold water wears them first.
I pulled the pan, no markings on rods and caps, nothing on top of pistons, so its probably stock.
I ran it a few hundred miles in a 4200 lb duelly with 58cc, aluminum heads. It pulled hard, tires broke loose in third gear. The compression was so high, had to run octane booster thanks to Cali's octane restrictions. So, if you have some small chambered heads, you'll have to run booster with these pistons.
