This is electric, and is much more powerful than a gas powered one and electric never breaks down. I bought it probably two years ago and used it maybe five times and I always keep it clean and away from rain and especially in the shade. It is in perfect condition. It cost $400 plus tax retail and is worth every penny. It picks up giant rocks out of the ground and throws them off to the side. Even though I want $300 for it, I'm moving so I really want to sell it so if your offer comes close to 300 I will consider it, but I don't need the money. So you never know. I'm in Lake Isabella very close to Ace Hardware.
