Hours per week: minimum of 20 hours per week and on-call for emergencies
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Landscaping
Assist in completing routine maintenance requests (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, etc.)
Support apartment unit turns, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities in clean and safe condition
Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed (including after-hours rotation if applicable)
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance shop organization
Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and team members
Qualifications
2+ years of maintenance experience (apartment, construction, or related field preferred)
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in multifamily or affordable housing maintenance
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
